Designing for the pandemic: individual and collective safety devices

The rapid spread of COVID-19 has generated a demand for health-related safety equipment. development these emergency products raises several questions, in particular the possible lack concern health, satisfaction, and users addition to immediate against COVID-19. Considering issues, objectives this work are categorize, identify trends, propose strategic approaches alteration individual collective solutions facing pandemic. For that, we conducted review categorization industrial design developed during pandemic using database Behance. We found 171 products. Of these, classified 99 as solutions, with majority being masks face shields, 59 like disinfection booths, physical transparent separators, sanitary dispensers. And 13 were geared hospital use such furniture, testing medical procedures. From analysis products, noted four major themes: protection from infection, isolation, barriers enabling safe interaction, disinfection, that can be used guideline new context.
